Garrett McMillan
Partner
Garrett McMillan frequently litigates under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) and currently represents consumers in cases against solar panel companies across Texas. His practice also includes defamation defense, Texas Anti-SLAPP litigation, business disputes, contract litigation, personal guarantees, and bills of review. Mr. McMillan handles both trial and appellate matters and is licensed to practice in the Northern and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

David Austin Black
Partner
David Austin Black began his legal career at one of the nation's largest corporate immigration law firms before transitioning to a broader civil litigation practice. He has represented clients in multi-million-dollar commercial construction lawsuits and disputes involving homeowners associations. Mr. Black was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Texas School of Law. His practice focuses on delivering practical legal solutions to businesses and individuals across Texas.
Jesse Buttery
Senior Partner
Jesse Buttery has practiced civil litigation for most of his career, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex legal matters. His experience includes business law, construction law, personal injury, medical malpractice, consumer protection, governmental liability, and school law. He has handled cases through every stage of litigation, including trial and appeal, and has represented local government entities in the enforcement of municipal codes and ordinances. Mr. Buttery is licensed in Texas and in the Northern and Southern Districts of the federal courts.
Michael Sheetz

Michael Sheetz is a Dallas native who graduated summa cum laude from Southern Methodist University before earning his Juris Doctor from SMU's Dedman School of Law. He began his legal career in criminal law, serving as an Assistant District Attorney in McLennan County before moving into private practice. Today, his practice focuses on real estate, probate, and commercial law, bringing experience from both public service and private practice.
Braden Burleson
Associate
Braden Burleson is a Dallas-based trial attorney who has represented clients throughout Texas in district and county courts since becoming licensed in 2022. He has served as lead counsel in more than 160 cases and has tried thirteen cases as first chair. His practice emphasizes personal injury and civil litigation, including complex vehicle and trucking accident matters. Mr. Burleson also has extensive experience conducting mediations, depositions, and motion practice, and has helped secure significant settlements for his clients.
Sarah Walsh

Sarah Walsh is a Texas-licensed attorney with extensive experience advising governmental entities and municipalities. Her practice includes drafting contracts, ordinances, resolutions, and legal filings while providing counsel to city councils, boards, commissions, and municipal staff. In addition to her municipal work, she has represented individuals in municipal, county, and district courts, handling motions, hearings, and criminal proceedings. Ms. Walsh brings strong legal research, drafting, and courtroom experience, along with a commitment to practical and effective client representation.
